IBA MEDICAL INSURANCE

 

MEDICAL INSURANCE SCHEME for retired employees has been introduced for the benefit of retired employees and their spouses of the deceased employees by Banks.  The Scheme is on the same lines with the medical insurance available to serving employees.  However, while the premium for the medical insurance is borne by the serving employees, the premium for the retired employees are to be borne by the retired employees.

 

Retirees have been offered the following Tailormade Medical Insurance Policies:

 

1.       Tailormade Group Mediclaim Policy (Retirees) with Domiciliary Treatment cover

 

2.       Tailormade Group Mediclaim Policy (Retirees) WITHOUT Domiciliary Treatment cover

 

The Insurance policy facilitates cashless hospitalisation and reimbursement of expenses incurred on treatment of ailments/illness.
